Worked in a split role with the Product and Marketing teams as a designer and developer. Designed the brand and collateral, including the creation of the new company logo. Primarily responsible for UI/UX of the product. Designed and developed numerous user-facing features in the product; developed the industry benchmarking and the R&D tax credit products.
2017 – 2021
Head of Design
Worked as the Head of UI/UX Design. Primarily responsible for the look and feel of product; collaborate with stakeholders to help develop and ideate on the vision for the product. In charge of creating marketing materials, including video assets, e-books, websites, e-mails, physical assets such as business cards and swag, and the company brand. Previously managed the Front End team, which included application and web design and development. Additional miscellaneous duties include creating company retreat themes, planning and helping manage the retreats, setting up offices and a video studio, and being the company spreadsheet guru and regex oracle.
2016 – 2017
Principal Software Engineer
Became a Principal Software Engineer for the R&D team through Axway’s acquisition of Appcelerator. Designed and developed demos, code samples, and performed client advisory work for iOS and Android applications.
2011 – 2016
Developed iOS and Android applications. Served as a Senior Mobile Consultant on the Professional Services team, then shifted to Solutions Architect on the Customer Advisory team. Developed, designed and architected mobile applications for EMC, Denso, First Utility, NBC Universal, Deloitte, Gamestop and more. Designed and developed the company’s online video training portal.
2008 – 2011
Senior Software Engineer
Worked on the Professional Services team as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on front end development with some mobile web. Projects included Advance Publications, BBC America, Consumer Reports, Entertainment Weekly, Humane Society, MTV, NY Times, Oracle, Playboy, Philips, Reebok, Smithsonian, Universal Music, US Department of State, Virgin Media and Weather Channel. Created an open source initiative within the company and developed numerous popular SDKs for the company platform.
Lead Software Engineer
Served on the original team that developed this social shopping website, which was acquired by eBay in 2012. Primarily focused on website and bookmarklet development.
Lead Software Engineer
Co-founded this mobile retail platform as the Lead Software Engineer, also creating the initial company branding. Developed mobile retail experiences for MooseJaw and the New England Patriots.
2007 – 2008
Worked on the Professional Services team as a Software Engineer. Developed a quick-deployment system for mobile websites based on the Joomla CMS, which was used to launch products for CBS News and CBS Sports.
